About Knox : Student Care : Pupil Absences
Pupil absences are recorded daily on School rolls, which are are legal documents the School is bound to maintain. Lists of absentees are collected by 10.00am daily and if there has been no prior contact from parents explaining or advising of illness, the School secretary will telephone home. For convenience, an answering service is available to record pupil absences:

Leave-of-absence requests can only be handled by the Head Master and all such requests are to be directed to him in writing. In general, a boy's place at Knox is risked if he is absent without leave.
