Knox Preparatory School has over 500 students. Teachers and boys interact and relate in a dynamic, joyful, purposeful and highly effective manner. While students come from a wide range of backgrounds, excellent academic instruction ensures that the basics in reading, writing, mathematics, music and oral work are firmly established, as well as providing opportunities to extend the academically gifted.
The Preparatory School is located a kilometre from the Senior School and has modern facilities including a state-of-the-art, purpose built centre for boys in Kindergarten to Year 2.
Boys work in their core classes to develop a sound foundation in literacy and numeracy. In addition, they have the opportunity to be exposed to a broader curriculum by participating in classes staffed by subject specialists in Music, Languages, Visual Arts, Science and Technology, Sport and Physical Education.
Before and after school activities are available to boys in music, sport and co-curricular activities as well as an after school care program which operates until 6.00pm. |

Knox Prep works in close partnership with parents to give boys the care and attention they need to develop self esteem and confidence which provide a firm foundation for school success as well as embedding the standards expected of Knox boys.
